Lurking Minicart for WooCommerce 1.1.1 has just been released. It makes the plugin compatible with WordPress 4.9; fixes bugs in the minicart on mobile browsers; and increases the delay for closing the minicart after add-to-cart.
Some changes made to the plugin in the last release broke the Cart and Checkout buttons on mobile browsers, or basically any touch screen. Tapping on the buttons did nothing. We found the bug and tapped it out of existence.
We extended the delay for closing the minicart after an add-to-cart, from 2 seconds to 3.5 seconds. This makes it long enough for most customers to see what’s in the cart, without it feeling like it’s taking too long to close.
At the same time, we fixed an annoying new development where customers could be gliding their mouse over the expanded minicart, only to watch it close while they’re reading it.
WordPress 4.9 is just around the corner, so we’ve been testing the beta and release candidate releases. A change it’s made to the colour picker scripts broke the colour picker settings in the plugin admin, but thankfully Sergio (kallookoo) has released a new version of wp-color-picker-alpha which fixes it. Thanks, Sergio!
You can update to the latest version from your WordPress plugin admin page. Here’s the full Lurking Minicart for WooCommerce changelog.
