SSL Insecure Content Fixer v2.3.0 has just been released. This release adds support for Windows Azure with ARR, and a filter for domains that can be excluded from content cleaning.
If you run WordPress on a Windows Azure server, its Application Request Routing (ARR) might trip you up with HTTPS detection. Your ARR configuration script should take HTTPS into account, but sometimes it won’t. This release adds support for detecting ARR, both in the HTTPS test and the settings page recommendations, and fixing WordPress’ HTTPS detection.
Content cleaning can sometimes trip up sites that load images from external servers when they don’t have SSL/TLS certificates. When that happens, you might prefer to take the hit of a minor security warning and show the external image. Now there’s a new filter that lets you do that. See this GitHub issue for an example. NB: some PHP skills are required!
You can update to the latest version from your WordPress plugin admin page. Here’s the full changelog for SSL Insecure Content Fixer.
