Gravity Forms eWAY Pro v1.10.0

Gravity Forms eWAY Pro v1.10.0 has just been released. This release adds Transaction Number to export files; is WordPress 5.6 compatible; supports WordPress 5.5 automatic plugin updates; includes PHP 8.0 fixes; minimum required PHP is now 7.0.

WordPress 5.6, jQuery 3.5, PHP 8.0

WordPress 5.6 will be released soon, with some breaking changes. This version has been tested on WordPress 5.6, with its updated jQuery library, and a couple of minor fixes have been made. A small change for PHP 8.0 compatibility has been made for recurring payments too.

Export Transaction Number

The internal Transaction Number can be a useful field for reconciling transactions, especially for Direct Connection transactions which are completed before the Gravity Forms entry is saved. This release adds Transaction Number to the available export fields to make reconciliation easier.

Automatic updates

The plugin can now participate in automatic plugin updates, if you enable them. This means that any future updates could be automatically installed by WordPress without the need for an administrator to run the update.

PHP requirements

The plugin now requires a minimum of PHP 7.0, although we’d recommend something more recent like PHP 7.3 or 7.4. Even version 7.0 is old, obsolete, and unsupported now, so we won’t be supporting older versions than that any more.

PHP class name changes

The PHP classes in the plugin have been renamed, removing the GFEwayPro prefix. This prefix was a holdover from pre-namespace days, and is no longer necessary. If you have code that directly references any classes in the plugin, please adjust your code accordingly.

You can update to the latest version from your WordPress plugin admin page. Here’s the full changelog for Gravity Forms eWAY Pro.
