Gravity Forms Address Enhanced v1.24.0 has been released. It requires a minimum PHP version of 7.4; adds smart handling of when Address subfields are required, per country; and is compatible with WooCommerce 7.1.
Minimum PHP version is 7.4
GF Address Enhanced now requires a PHP version of at least 7.4, with a recommended version of 8.0 or later. If your website is still running on PHP 7.3 or earlier, please upgrade before installing the new version of GF Address Enhanced.
Smart Required Subfields
Have you ever tried to enter an address for a country that has no postal codes, and had an error because the form requires a postal code? That’s a bit suboptimal. And it can happen on Gravity Forms too, unless you update your GF Address Enhanced to get this fix. Some countries don’t have states or provinces either, so that subfield isn’t mandatory for those countries. And Singapore is a “city / state” so it really doesn’t need to have either city or state, so OK — neither are mandatory. And as for Bouvet Island…
Anyway, GF Address Enhanced now changes which Address subfields are required based on the country selected.
WooCommerce 7.1 and New Zealand
New Zealand. Not a big country, but always getting in amongst it. This time, WooCommerce has changed from a two-letter code to the ISO-standard three-letter code for NZ regions, so GF Address Enhanced now looks at which version of WooCommerce is installed (if any) to determine which is required for WooCommerce codes. Choice, bro.
